The School of Education (SOE) at Loyola University Chicago invites applications for a 1- year renewable non-tenure track full-time faculty position in the School Psychology program. The selected individual will join faculty in the SOE's undergraduate and graduate programs, all of which are shaped around the SOE's conceptual framework of advancing professionalism in the service of social justice.

The School of Education (SOE) at Loyola University Chicago invites applications for a 1- year renewable non-tenure track full-time faculty position in the School Psychology program. The selected individual will join faculty in the SOE's undergraduate and graduate programs, all of which are shaped around the SOE's conceptual framework of advancing professionalism in the service of social justice.
The main responsibilities of the selected candidate include the following:
- Maintain a 4/4 teaching load (teaching four courses in the fall and three in the spring, on the average) of graduate courses across the EdS, PhD, and EdD programs.
- Share the responsibilities with other full-time faculty in the program to advise and mentor students across programs as assigned to ensure students are supported and complete the program on time.
- Share in the responsibilities with other full-time faculty in the program to serve as a Capstone Director and committee member for students in the EdD program.
- Engage in service to the school psychology program and the SOE including, but not limited to, shared governance committee work as well as attend monthly SOE-wide meetings.
- Attend and support facilitation of the annual new student orientation, new student open house, and end of year celebration in the school psychology program.
- Collaborate with all program faculty to review and make admissions decisions for the EdS, PhD, and EdD programs.
We seek candidates who will collaborate with colleagues across the program, SOE, and larger university to build an inclusive and welcoming school psychology program that fosters belonging for all students. Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in assessment, prevention, intervention, and individual and systems-level consultation and collaboration within a MTSS framework. Candidates will also demonstrate a strong commitment to urban education and dedication to serving a historically minoritized P-12 student body in the greater Chicago area consistent with Loyola University Chicago's commitment to advancing social justice through transformative education. Lastly, candidates will demonstrate a commitment to collegiality and collaboration within the School Psychology programs and larger SOE and University community.
