Job Description:

• Teach university graduate courses in general counseling and clinical courses including CE 6045 Counseling Techniques; CE 6855 Theories of Counseling; CE 6615 Foundations Systemic Family Therapy; CE 6132 Internship II; and CE 7121 Doctoral Internship I: Supervision and Counseling.
• This faculty specialist position will serve as a faculty member in the counselor education unit and the clinical coordinator within the unit.
• Responsible for teaching and service roles for a total of 15 credit hours per semester, including teaching general and clinical graduate courses, serving as clinical coordinator, and graduate student advising.
• Coordinate the practicum and internship experiences, and work with the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CCPS) directors and staff.
• Coordinate the administrative aspects of clinical experiences within the department from the application process to assisting with class assignments.
• Maintain on-going communication with site supervisors to ensure compliance with all departmental expectations for students' clinical experiences and to support site supervisors' roles. Advise graduate students and serve on departmental committees.
