Internal Number: 86956-en_US The Johns Hopkins University, one of the world's premier teaching, research, and patient care institutions, is seeking candidates for the position of Cash Management Consultant within its Investment Office, reporting directly to the Managing Director in the Markets and Risk group. The Investment Office has responsibility for investing the endowments for the university, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and other related endowed entities totaling about $10 billion, among many other assets. Johns Hopkins University was founded in 1876 and is one of the world's premier teaching and research institutions with nearly 22,000 students across nine academic divisions. The university attracts the finest undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, post-doctoral and professional degree students and more federal research and development funding than any other university in the United States.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of achievement at top-tier institutions and have training and work experience in economics and finance. The candidate should possess an excellent understanding of macroeconomics, asset allocation and portfolio management in the context of an investment organization. Personality fit within a dynamic team is essential. The ideal candidate should be enterprising, outgoing, and enjoy teamwork as well as lively debates.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers. Any vaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no cost in our Occupational Health office.
