The Recruitment & Onboarding Technician is responsible for opening and closing the Human Resources office (8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Alternate schedule during summer months), however, the college and this position are currently operating remotely. This position is responsible for work at the front desk of the Human Resources office and collaborates on a team assisting in the recruitment and new hire paperwork process and with the Human Resources office as a whole to route questions and assist with the office work flow. The Recruitment & Onboarding Technician maintains current technical knowledge of assigned areas of responsibility in order to provide effective and efficient service to the college and community. The Recruitment & Onboarding Technician communicates between Human Resources, College departments, and applicants, and greets customers with a friendly, helpful attitude, follow through on requests, and provide efficient, accurate, and reliable service.

A High School Diploma/GED
Two years secretarial, reception, or customer service experience with high public contact
Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Russian)
Customer service oriented
Attention to detail, accuracy
Skills in adjusting to shifting priorities and handling constant interruptions
Demonstrated interpersonal skills especially as applied to interactions with diverse populations of staff, students, and the public.
Open to receiving and seeking feedback
Ability to make appropriate referrals
Ability to make decisions, gather information, sense urgency, and problem solve
Ability to communicate effectively through email
Ability to prioritize job assignments appropriately
Associates degree or higher from an accredited institution
Experience with Microsoft office suite and/or Google suite
Experience with Banner (HRIS) and/or Neogov, or similar applicant tracking system
Experience with data entry
Three or more years of secretarial, reception, or customer service experience with high public contact.
Experience working in employee recruitment
Experience working in a community college setting
