The Harkin Institute for Public Policy and Citizenship Engagement at Drake University seeks applicants interested in conducting research under the Retirement Security policy focus area. Research fellows work in collaboration with the Policy Director to execute a federal level public policy research project in a topical area impacting retirement outcomes of individuals in the United States. Applicants must propose their own area of study, specific project, and key deliverables in the application process and express how this project connects with the work of The Harkin Institute. Research fellowships are designed to be part-time and last approximately one year. Many research fellows do this work in addition to their fulltime employment. Research fellows may be faculty members, but this is not a requirement for consideration. No residency requirement is attached to the fellowship. Applicant must have experience conducting public policy research and analysis. This is a part-time position.
