This position is in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. This position is for the Medical School Campus.
Position coordinates office functions, programs and schedules, provides administrative services, and performs specialized/technical duties with minimum supervision.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain faculty calendars and schedule appointments.
Provide General Grant support including but not limited to: update bio-sketches, publications/PMCID #'s; correspond between agency and PI's; gather materials requested by PI's.
Assit with special projects specific to large program project across multiple institutions: progress report generation; may organize off-site meetings; organize WebEx meetings; facilitate Share Point projects.
Travel duties for research PI’s, including but not limited to: meeting registration; flight and hotel reservations; transportation, and/or track/coordinate reimbursements from outside of institution.
Back up accounting, which includes check requests, travel journals and purchase orders.
Book conference rooms for meetings.
Help PI’s with manuscript edits/forward on to appropriate parties.
Make sure credentialing & licensing are current for PI’s.
Help organize/send announcements for meetings and various announcements from Co-Division Chiefs and the Business Director.
Assist Business Director with special projects as assigned.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AIS.
Experience in a university/medical environment.

This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.
Equivalent of an associate degree with two to four years of experience in administrative support.
The hiring range for this position is $19.18 - $24.47 per hour.
