Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Collects and prepares mouse DNA samples for analysis. Performs routine laboratory work under minimal supervision. Prepares solutions and media under sterile conditions. Performs various molecular biology techniques. Position also assists with general laboratory maintenance, including equipment maintenance and ordering/stocking of supplies.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Undergraduate coursework in molecular biology (freshman or sophomore); Cell biology or Genetics or related discipline
Must be willing to work in an animal-related research environment.
Must be willing to work an adjusted schedule to support research needs.
Successful completion of the Instituteâ™s background investigation.
This position requires constant handling, seeing and sitting.
