This Gross Anatomy Lab Director position is located at our Kearney, Nebraska campus. The gross anatomy lab is state of the art and the HSEC building is equipped with extensive clinical simulation facilities.
This role is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the laboratory is a functional, safe and properly equipped learning environment that meets all accreditation standards. In addition, this position is responsible for obtaining, preparing and exchanging donor bodies; providing leadership and mentoring for junior faculty; and teaching.
Teaching responsibilities include instruction in anatomy courses to students enrolled in physician assistant, physical therapy and radiography education programs.
Classes are held in person for students at HSEC and via synchronous, fully interactive A/V technology to students at the UNMC Omaha Campus.

Qualified applicants will have a terminal academic Degree with experience teaching anatomy to health profession students and experience as a laboratory director.
Previous experience teaching in the allied health professions is preferred
Ideal candidate will have previous experience as laboratory director, and experience teaching in the allied health professions.
