Seeking a Cancer Epidemiologist who will maintain a vigorous program of externally funded research, teach graduate courses, advise masters and doctoral students, provide service to the community and contribute to the development of the department and the college.
Required qualifications include: Earned Ph.D. in Epidemiology or Ph.D. in Epidemiology in conjunction with another clinical degree (e.g., M.D., D.O., D.D.S., etc.) at time of application. Candidates should have or demonstrate the potential for 1) a track record of external research funding and scholarship 2) substantive expertise in cancer epidemiology; 3) a commitment to teaching, advising graduate students, mentoring post-doctoral fellows, and service to the Department of Epidemiology.
Experience or willingness 1) to work as part of a multidisciplinary research team; 2) to work with communities; 3) translating research into practice.
